Dr. Mario the Board Game
A couple days ago a Dr. Mario board game sold for over $100 bucks over on the Australian side of ebay. Its game play is similar to the classic Operation. The seller still has quite a few neat video game listings up. A lot of complete original Game Boy handheld sets. .

Nintendo World Championship Cart #81 for Sale
Grey Nintendo World Championship Game No. 0081 has just went up on Ebay for a Buy it Now of US $10,000.00. Only 90 of these grey carts were made for the Nintendo World Championship's back in 1990.
Update: Not long after this listing went live the seller pulled it down and removed the Best Offer option. Looks like there was at least one official offer that was declined. I'd expect at this price the seller will be getting many more messages through Ebay about a lower selling price.
ExplodingRabbit over on the Newgrounds.com flash portal has released a flash based reworking of the original super mario bros. Super Mario Crossover lets you play through the nintendo classic with five new playable 8-bit game characters. Each come with their own unique movement and special attacks.

Mr. Gimmick is a Famicom game by Sunsoft; released only in Japan and Scandinavia. Recently 1up blog retronauts featured a four part utube video on the rare game. An interesting side scroller you might want to look around for on the internet even if it's just to play it on an emulator. Although you might miss out on the music that a special sound chip on the original cartridge was able to deliver.

Some great versions of classic man man level themes played on piano. The electronic bleeps translates well to the cords of a piano. I wonder where one finds the sheet music for it?
