Seems like you need the box so that might limit the classic game dumping; but I imagine some rare classics popping up at Toys"R"Us stores nationwide come sept. 13th..How many diapers can I get for a sealed stadium events?

Today we're taking a look at some classic gaming systems and games that have come up on craigslist around the US this past week. Ebay has become a pricing source for many of these sellers and they aren't afraid to ask top dollar for that box of sega genesis carts with some cat pee stains on labels.

What do you do if your a wealthy business man and one day you get hit by lightning and develop a strange urge to collect classic games? Well you might save yourself the time and just by someones entire collection on ebay. The collection in question is set to buy it now at a staggering $85,000 dollars; although the shipping is free. You might balk at the price tag, or perhaps start calling your video game buying habits an investment in the future. There does seem to be some rare items in the auction and you can make an offer; but the lack of pictures and the fact that the list of items actually included is incomplete makes the success of someone buying it pretty unlikely. You never know though, lightning does strike golf courses quite a bit.

Donkey Kong Jr. World Champion
Steve Wiebe, from "King of Kong" documentary fame, recently set a new world record Donkey Kong Jr. score.
Wiebe reached a score of 1,139,800, beating out the previous record of 1,033,000. Wiebe will be going head to head with Billy Mitchell at this years E3 for a live nationally televised shot at the original Donkey Kong record.

A Wired Game Life video review of the current Nintendo DS release of Retro Game Challenge. Retro Game Challenge finds you completing classic gaming challenges presented by the gaming master. Based off of the Japanese tv show Game Center CX. These aren't old re-released famicom games but are newly made ones specifically for this DS release. Some of the retro genres covered include; a side-scrolling platformer, a top-down view racing game, 2-D shooter and a decent sized rpg.
