The Atari Flashback was released in 2004 and has a design similar to the classic 7800 console, although it is a bit smaller than the original. The Flash Back plug-n-play Atari system comes with two joysticks plus 20 classic games from the 7800 and 2600 systems. Because of the way it was made the Flashback runs games more like ports and you will notice differences between how games play on the Flashback compared to the classic systems. I would recommend you take a look at the Flashback 2, it has twice as many games and plays them like it would on an actual Atari. |

-The Flash Back 1 is not very modder friendly.
-in 2004 the Flashback2 cost about 45 dollars. On ebay you can find them today for $5-$10. Some used FB consoles will still have the box and are hardly used.
